I like to sell crap on ebay. Mostly because I like free money, but also because I like to buy crap on ebay. If I sell more crap than I buy, I end up with a lot of crap I want and make a profit. That seems to me like crap heaven.
Most of the crap I've sold in the past year came from house in Queens where my friend Keith whiled away his childhood. One day he mentioned to me that his parents were throwing out all his toys. Well, I put the kibosh on that right quick. I drove over there the next day and loaded every square inch of a 1992 Nissan Sentra with Keith's crap. His parents seemed puzzled by my excitement, and I cackled gleefully the whole ride home with visions of free money for crap dancing in my head.
And it worked out. I sold some old GI Joe crap for a lot of money, the highlight being the crappy GI Joe Adventure Team headquarters -- sort of a boy's dollhouse -- that went for almost $200. Nice.
Anyway, I thought it might be mildly amusing to start cataloguing my ebay sales activities here, taking advantage of all the power and ease of the ImageSquirrel content management system. So here it is.
If you're ever interested in checking out my current auctions, just go to ebay and search on my username: glieberman. And do check out my user feedback. I've been told I'm A+++++++++++. |
